The Kelly era is upon us, many believe he is "the guy" to bring ND back to prominence, i thought i'd make up a little scenario for you guys and see what you say. Just play along, remember this is just a lighthearted game to pass the ever slowing time before kickoff.

In february of 1989 the private jet i was flying crashed on a remote island, for over 20 years I have been living alone, cut of from the world, i was recently rescued and i have returned home to South Bend, being and obsessive Notre Dame fan, I am wondering, how are the irish, and what have the past 20 years been like for them?

In february of 1989 the private jet i was flying crashed on a remote island, for over 20 years I have been living alone, cut of from the world, i was recently rescued and i have returned home to South Bend, being and obsessive Notre Dame fan, the first question on my mind is, "how are the irish? did they repeat in 89? What have the past 20 years been like for my beloved Irish?

"the FIRST question on my mind ..." and lists three. Never answers anything, just asks questions.

Now I remember why we put the bomb on the plane.

Lol looks like the grammar police are out in full force tonight, ill be sure to edit that to fit your preference, and the idea is to have YOU answer the questions, its a fun way to look back on the years since Holtz

Grammar Police? For "first question" and asking three? That's basic math skills.

Grammar would deal with capitalizing the first letter in "ill" and adding an apostrophe between the first and second letters and perhaps a period or two.

I did anwer your question(s) in the last sentence of my previous post.

its (sic) a fun way to look back on the years since Holtz

There is no fun way to look back on the years since Holtz unless you're (note the apostrophe neutered!) a USC, MSU, BC, Navy, Syracuse, UCon, etc, etc, etc, fan.

GreatDayne, when you were deserted on that island, did you have a volleyball friend named "Wilson?" I saw him for sale at Big 5 sporting goods...

Well, after '93, ND gave up football and decided to focus on basketball and women's sports. Just recently, they are trying to focus on football again.

Well placed apostrophe BGIF. Kudos.

In 1990, ND develops its 20 year plan in recruiting and coaching hires. In 2010 we should be able to see some dividends from this highly coveted strategy. The strategy was loosely based off of Maslow's hierarchy of needs.

Very interesting! (wouldn't it be insane if that were true though?) in a sadistic, fan hating kind of way.

Well, I think the IF provided a grammar and math humorous "theory" for your post and feedback, but ... what were we talking about?
