No one needs to resign. It's a game. You win and you lose. Either way it's for fun and I think it's pretty cool I'm playing with other ND fans.

P.S. I have been known (once or twice =D) to shut off the game when I'm ND and losing to USC or Michigan. Let's face it... even in a virtual world I hate seeing those losses and I will avoid seeing that final scoreboard at all costs. haha

quitting a game is bad gamer etiquette - If you quit against a computer controlled team I guess it isnt a big deal. As long as you dont quit on a human controlled team, especially an IE human controlled team. I say take your ass-whoopin like a man...after all, its just a game right?

When ppl quit against me in NHL, that used to get a nasty email from me to them, which always included the word 'loser' creatively thrown in. Now I just send 1 of 2 different messages:

If they quit past the 1st period, I send a simple 'taxed' message
If they quit in the first period, they get "taxed....quick-like'

I would have at least 15 more shutouts in hockey if ppl didnt quit. I'm a stat geek, so it matters to me. One dude quit recently with 4.3 seconds left in the 3rd while he was losing 4-0, negating my shutout. Needless to say, I dusted off my nasty emails and sent him a message laced with nastiness.

I do an online dynasty with a USC buddy of mine, we have been doing this since back in the playstation1 days when we both bought this device called a Dex Drive and would email saved games back and forth. But I digress, Last year we ended up doing 4 seasons of online dynasty, he won the national title with USC every time, beat me with USC every time, and I never got ranked higher than 10 in the 4 seasons. We have a strict rule of no quitting, ever. Even though I got smoked with ND versus my buddy every time, I never quit because I just loved playing with ND, even if I lost, it didnt matter.

the only time I have beat my friend with ND was before he even owned the game(NCAA10), he came to my house and I beat him. He bought the game later that day and I havent beat him since, but we never quit. (one game I was losing 28-0 at the end of the first)

I've definitely learned to take 'em, I want to start handing them out now

If you take it so seriously that you're feeling so hard that you feel the need to come on a message board to prove to everyone how dorky you really are, find a hobby, preferably one involving a fine looking woman, jello and a wrestling mat.

I agree. I was the undefeated champion of several a real tournament in Nintendo baseball and soccer amongst grown men whose wives wondered what the hell we were doing on Friday nights. When my 8 year old godson and nephew started easily beating me in soccer, I quickly slammed him to the ground. He won the battle, but I won the war.

Dude was seriously avoiding me. He was online a few times and quickly changed his status to "offline" when I tried getting the game going.

Craziest shit is that my xbox took a poop on me tonight. I got three red lights flashing except for the upper right quadrant. Its supposed to indicate a power supply problem but the green light is lit on the power supply indicating good status.

SLC, you're going to have to put me on autopilot, but I think it's unfair for Teeman to be able to user control versus me since he copped out like 5 times. Fair is not life, though.

I hope to have this resolved soon...

Both. User controlled teams play each other. You would have to play other Big 10 user controlled teams on your schedule. Otherwise, you can get after it with the computer.
