After three big recruits pledging to the Irish this weekend, we have taken care of most of the holes in our defense. It would be great to land another playmaker and/or headhunter in the secondary to strike fear into players like Kyle Prater and Johnathan Baldwin. Our defense hasnt scared to many wide recievers over the past few years. A Wayne Lyons signing would certainly help fill out that secondary with Eilar Hardy. Mixed with our future front seven, we would have a pretty intimidating defense.
With the sure to be successful spread offense that BK is bringing into South Bend, and the new and improved defense of the future, is this class and this coach opening up our National Championship window or will we still be stuck in that second tier of teams?
