Face of College Football

I always hear how this person is the face of the NFL or this person is the face of the NBA, but who do you guys feel is the face of college football this year, I know the college landscape is ever changing but its interesting to see who is "that" guy.

after i thought about this question, i stumped myself because it would mostly go towards a QB or highly recognized RB and most of the QB's went into the draft and there really isn't a top RB that could be classified as most popular of all players.

so i came up with a couple i would say it would be between:

Ryan Mallett, Arkansas
Jake Locker, Washington
Kellen Moore, Boise St.
Terrelle Pryor, OSU
Mark Ingram, Alabame (more just because he won the Heisman)

those are the names that just quickly popped in my head, never knew that it could be so hard considering usually one name specifically pops in your head when college football is mentioned.

There is a big void now with Tebow, McCoy, Bradford gone.

I really don't know who it would be.

I do know that Locker and Pryor can put up good, but nowhere near great, numbers and people will be all over their jock all year long.

It might not even be an athlete. Could be Haden, or Coach Kelly if the Irish do well. If ND does really well, it could even be Crist.

I think college football is different from a pro sport in the fact that a player will only be a face for 4 years and most are only a face for 2 and in the pros, a player can be for say 20 years. In my opinion, the faces of college football and all college sports are the coaches. I love college football and believe it is actually America's Past Time, but it is obvious the coaches are the faces due to the bad name college football is getting with all of the recruiting issues in the news today... Just as pro sports get a bad name because of the bad players, college gets a bad name because of the bad coaches.

I think I could pick Locker out of a crowd. He and Tebow look related.

I cannot even fathom the looks of the others listed. I recall Pryor having huge ears. Ingram a dirty light beard. Moore looks like a teen poster child for true love waits. I can't see his face though, I just remember boyish features.
