First of all, I really can't wait for the beating we will give Michigan. Last year's BS game was totally thrown by the Big Ten refs.

Aside from that, all I really want is a Win in our last home game. It will be my last home game as a student, and the past two years I can only imagine how bad it was for the seniors to lose on Senior Day. So all I want is to go out with a Win. I think I've suffered enough losses the past 3 years. Winning the last home game isn't a lot to ask for.

Last seasons game at @ Michigan was horrendous. I still do not understand how the Big Ten always has their set of officials wherever we play one of their teams. If I am not mistaken some, if not most, of other inter-conference games have a neutral group....but i digress.

I cannot put a win total down until the season starts to take shape. Waaaaaayyyy too early at this point to try to predict. Anywhere from 7 (unfortunately) to 12 (improbable) is this teams window. I hope to see improved pass defense. The last few years it seemed whenever the opposition had a five step drop play that last more than 5 seconds, even if the QB was flushed out of the pocket, it was a completion...usually a big one. Solid solid defense is what I am hopeful for. Not giving up the big play.

Of course watching Crist grow and the offense develop will be fun. Boy do we have some potential playmakers.

We have many potential playmakers and I think Kelly will help them reach their potential, unlike Weis who just seemed to not develop some players well.

I'm sick and tired of people constantly bringing up the Michigan loss. Fact of the matter is, the boys got dusted by a freshman qb who probably isn't going to start this season.

Did the refs suck....very much so, but let's stop with the excuse making. The Irish were every bit as responsible (particularly the defense) for that loss as the refs were.

I completely agree... ND should have embarrassed Michigan last season.

That game had the worst display of tackling I have ever seen.

It was God awful.
