Let's not get overly dramatic about it. The kid screwed up, and it's a part of the public record now. It will follow him everywhere he goes. But he's also very young, and has plenty of opportunity to overcome it. For Christ's sake...........Bill Clinton admitted to using pot, and got elected President!! This is not a post for, or against, marijuana. I'm simply saying that this is a mistake that he can overcome. He hasn't screwed up his life, yet.

What I meant was regarding the fact that he may not be able to get back in and get the degree from Notre Dame, I dont know how lenient they will be on letting him back in, football yes but the degree is more important.

So he can go get a degree somewhere else. I didn't attend ND, but I do understand the advantages of a degree from Notre Dame. But I also know that plenty of people have gotten degrees from a school not named Notre Dame, and gone on to have wildly successful lives.

Link? How about I go to college, I know division one football players and I'm not blind to reality. College athletes do/deal drugs and drink alcohol, just like any normal college student, they even do it at Notre Dame. If you really think Ragone is the only player on the team who smokes weed then you're out of touch with reality.
