good article...liked the content/analysis...

Mayock's revue of Jimmy was better than previous discussions on NFL Network...he did say he thought Bradford had a better pro day, and remains the #1...

I'm biased no doubt, and guys who get paid to do the analysis ...well you gotta trust their judgement I guess...but some things just bug me about Bradford vs. Clausen.

...still think Sam is living on his play when he wasn't under pressure...as soon as he got hit, he wilted. Not just talking about the injury...if you wacth the BYU game...He was RATTLED, and not able to be elusive, and keep his eyes down field....I still think Jimmy was hands down the best at sliding out of pressure and completing the play...can't figure how that quality is so horrifically overlooked.

Jimmy took shots from the opening gun until he finished his career...after his freshman year he never really seemed rattled, and was just Huge this year under pressure...

I would not be shocked if the Rams took him at #1...but it seems like there is too much smoke for Bradford between the fan buzz and what "analysts" are saying...RAMS will pull the trigger on Bradford...

If Pete the poodle is smart He'll grab Jimmy at 14 (assuming he's there)...I feel dirty for saying it!

Nice post.

As for Poodle being smart...is he? I think (and many others) that he overpaid for a career back-up big-time in Charlie Whitehurst, who wasn't even that good in college (turnover machine if I recall correctly EDIT: 18 TDs with 21 INTs his last 2 yrs...yikes) and was a 3RD STRINGER. Petey wanted a new QB, and from I read Bates convinced him that Whitehurst was really good. The Chargers fans are still laughing from that trade. And with that trade, the feeling is that Sea is out of the market for a QB early in the draft. But it sounds as if Seattle is still checking out QBs, so who knows? (EDIT: Seattle OC Bates was there at his pro-day today.)

Unlike most ND fans, I don't hate Petey that much. He kicked the shit out of ND every year (as a competitor I have to respect that...unlike SC fans who always rip Lou Holtz and call him an idiot even though that 'idiot' stuck it every single freakin' year), and the way SC fans are cheering his exit and lauding the great Lane Kiffin (LOL), I kinda want to see him succeed while the Trogans fall flat on their faces...
