Got the build 6-3 270 to play in the middle of the DLine.

Has 7 offers including BC, UM, and MSU. Went to OSU's Jr Day March 1st but didn't leave with an offer. He's also been to UM's Jr Day.

Grew up rooting for ND and UM with ND the preference when they went head to head.

Would like to get recruiting over early.

This kid may be a pretty decent behemoth DE prospect for our 3-4. It's hard to tell just from the stats and his picture though if he is built more like a DT. Does anyone live in the area/know more about him that could enlighten us? Thanks in advance.

He might be but keep in mind he's a HS Junior. By the time he sees a Div 1 field his build will probably be considerably different than what it looks like today.

He picked up offers from WIS and Kent St. I also added Nebraska to his profile. They were the first to offer him.

That's an oxymoron, isn't it? That's like an "accurate rumor" or being "alone in a crowd", it just doesn't make sense! :)

When I was this kid's age, I liked football teams I can't stand now. Of course ND was still my favorite, but I pulled for teams now I hope fall off of cliffs. (Not literally)

He at least has a good enough head on his shoulders to see the light.

Williams plans on making his decision "around the first week of May". Looks like an East Lansing/Ann Arbor battle.

Wait, what? Around the week of May? LOL. My wife and I plan on having our first kid around the month of 2011...

"Around the first week of May"

My error not his. When I first typed it I had "around the first of May" dropping the word week. I added first but deleted week in the process.

Mea culpa.

Best wishes in 13 years on doing algebra homework.

Bill Hodge's On The Trail

4/19
ESPNU 150 Watch List defensive tackle Kevin Williams of Springfield (Holland, Ohio) has accepted a scholarship offer from the Cornhuskers.
After attending Saturday's Red-White spring game with his family, the 6-foot-2, 270-pound Williams chose Nebraska over offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Kansas, Oregon, Stanford, Syracuse and Wisconsin, among many others.
As a junior, Williams was credited with 157 tackles, 15 for loss, and 15 sacks. He was named first-team all-league, first-team all-district, and special mention All-Ohio.
He is Nebraska's sixth pledge.

ND never offered.
