Michigan schedules 2011 night game

For the first time in team history, Michigan will host a night football game at Michigan Stadium when it welcomes rival Notre Dame on Sept. 10, 2011.

New Michigan athletics director David Brandon made the historic scheduling announcement Thursday afternoon in Ann Arbor.

The 2011 game will kick off at 8 p.m. ET and be televised by ESPN or ESPN2.

It would be awesome if ND played one night game a year at home. I bet the crowds would be much livelier

ESPN/2 better not split coverage and show me a stupid TX game because I live in the south.

I HATE when ESPN covers ND. The idea that ND fans live in TX don't freaking register to them.

I haven't been able to watch a ND night game ever once while being here because of the stupid split-coverage ESPN does.
