Yeah, Doughty is the real deal. Just can't believe he is not even 20. Classy kid too. Does not seem spoiled or affected by fame and doesn't get rattled by anything. Seems very grounded.

Speaking of Flyers, I have a tough time seeing Doughty sitting next to Pronger on the Canada bench. Chris Pronger is my most hated player in the NHL. Hated him before he was with the Quacks, REEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAALLLLLLY HATED him when he was a Quack, and I still hate him with the Flyers. Corey Perry is quickly catching up in terms of hatred points for me, but Pronger will be tough to unseat from the top spot. I just hate the Ducks so much and I live in Orange County. Always have been and always will be a Kings fan.

Yes. Would we all feel like we had to sell our souls? YES. If Pronger came to LA, he would really help, but a little piece of me would die.

I see where your coming from. But if it weren't for pronger this year this team woulda collapsed with all the distractions and such, but i feel like he's an underrated leader. But yeah your hate is justified

Ok i have a couple. My number 1 is sidney crosby. Yes i know he's a good player and all that but the guy is a flat out pussy and bettman and the NHL go to extreme lengths to protect him. A couple years ago he jumped a florida player on the faceoff pulled his head over his jersey and started "fighting" him. He got no suspension. Anyone else is suspended. I could go all day on this.

My other one is sean avery. He's just a pos and i don't think i really need to explain myself a whole lot

I understand why people hate Pronger, but he is a rock. I miss him in a Bluenote. I agree with Kpenn on Avery. I would love to see some of the goons of yore punch his teeth down his throat.

#1 for me is Martin Brodeur...he is a piece of crap posing as a goaltender. It kills me to no end that he's in the process of rewriting the record book, especially as the goalie he's passing, Patrick Roy, not only was truly great but also changed the way goalies play the game. My only comfort is that by the time Fleury is done he will have made Brodeur a long forgotten memory. You can mark my words-- Fleury has the skill, technique, and team to become an alltime great.

If you watch him play, he should be called for interference or slashing literaly 9 out of 10 shifts.

Pronger isn't overrated. He has made everyone on the flyes defense better. He's also a great leader and is one of the reasons why i feel the flyers are 6th in the east after that horrible stretch they had.
