Plays RB and CB. He camped last summer at UF, MSU, ND, and OSU. Also made a trip to ND for the '09 Southern Cal game. Has a 4.43 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Had 3 ints last season and 8 as a soph CB.

Love the Bishop Dwenger kids, alot of D-1 guys have come from there. If he has another big year, I'm sure he'll get bigger schools to extend offers. Would love him at either RB or corner, both needs for next years class.

I spoke with Remound Sr. last night, and the RB coach contacted his coach about 2 weeks ago. He had never heard of Remound. They would love an offer from ND, and are waiting for such. Remound is an absolute beast of a running back. I posted a link to his vid the other day, but it never came up. Must be against the rules here. This young man scored 40 touchdowns last year. 40!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sr. told me ND now has his film.
I have seen no other back in the country that can boast that number. He averaged about 9.7 YPC, and is as strong as they come. He did all of this and did not have a single carry in the second half of 5 freaking games!!!!! Not 1. Very good hands out of the backfield and really tough to bring down. Nothing against any of the other backs we have offered, but if he does not, we are simply insane. I coached him in baseball and have known him since he was 11. Kid is only 16 yrs old. Very young for his class and indeed, getting much attention from big schools right now.

GO IRISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the info. Keep us informed.

Does he have any plans for Jr Days, camps, and/or combines? Has he camped anywhere besides MSU?

Not trying to take away from the kid, but did you see the holes the offensive line was giving him? Geez, my 1 year old nephew could run through them! Praise that offensive line. Secondly, quailty of the competition will show how inflated or good his stats are and judging by the name of the school, Bishop Dwenger, taking a wild guess it's catholic private school which tells me they play in a lower division..

Offering isn't a bad idea, but I rather have the coaches try going after Green and Hayes hard first..

Tony Springmann was one of the guys making the monster holes, and yes, he needs an offer as well. He was at the Army All American combine last month and was unstopable in the 1 on 1's against the nations best. He ran a 40 that his dad said was not nearly his best 1st thing in the morning. He has camped around, and I believe at ND. Florida, Georgia, and a number of other schools have been showing interest. He has also been down to Bama. In comparison, Rod smith is one of the highly touted backs in the nation and did not put up the numbers Remound did this year. There is some very good football played in Fort Wayne, and there are currently 6 players from Fort Wayne playing in the NFL. But if you feel like you need to knock the young man because his O-line did it's job, feel free.

My experience (Detroit, Chicago) has been that Catholic League teams are every bit as competitive - - - in football anyway - - - as their public school counterparts. Not sure about Indiana though.

My experience (Detroit, Chicago) has been that Catholic League teams are every bit as competitive - - - in football anyway - - - as their public school counterparts. Not sure about Indiana though.

They dominate in NJ, Don Bosco (USA Today 2009 #1 Team), Bergen Catholic

Think they do well in Ohio and California as well.

St Thomas Aquinas in FL isn't too shabby (USA Today 2009 #13 Team)

Detroit Catholic (USA Today 2009 #14 Team)

Baltimore's Our Lady of Good Counsel (USA Today 2009 #15 Team)

12 of the Top 40 USA Today HS FB Teams are Catholic Schools.

N.B. If anyone wants to continue the level of competition at Catholic Schools take it to a new thread for further discussion this is a Recruit's Profile. Let's focus on him in this thread.

I agree that we should take a hard look at this kid,no argument there. But I also echo the same comment about the O line in front of him. I mean this kid could have jogged into the secondary before anyone even touched him.

I disagree. He broke SEVERAL tackles at or behind the line, especially on outside runs. ALso, on dives, he hits the hole hard and fast. He has a low center of gravity and keeps his balance well. Very good cover 2 corner IMO, as he comes up and supports the run well. On man coverage, his hips seem a little stiff, but he is technically sound as he takes his responsibility and does not give away outside. I love the way this kid carries the ball. I wish my running back toted it like that (he will be watching this video today!)

Don't we expect our o-line to open up holes? Not sure what happened to my response last night, but Dwenger does not even come close to playing in a "Lower Division". Some of the best programs in the nation are Catholic or Christian schools. Not every school in town is a powerhouse, but much of the footage came from the State Tournament.

Well said Biged. He is an extremely powerful and explosive runner, and being 5'9", He will be very difficult to track behind the line of scrimmage. He went from having a broken foot freshman year, to a handfull of caries as a sophomore, to the best and most productive back in the state as a junior. He is also very good, as some of the vid shows, at hitting much smaller holes very quickly.
I am not saying that he is the second coming of Christ, but he is an in-state talent that brings every bit as much to the table as the other backs we have offered do. He is a humble, well grounded, and very hard working young man.

I know that this is the best of his best plays, but looking at his film, his technique is great. I love the way he hits the hole on inside runs and has the speed to take away angles on sweeps and down the field plays.

How does he have a 4.33 on a 4.0 scale?

Taking AP courses (Advanced Placement college level courses) beyond the required course load. It's fairly common in high schools but usually among the non-athletes. My local HS has had more than 2 dozen students in a graduating class with better than a 4.00 GPA.

There's another ND prospect that has a 4.79 GPA.

Exactly the case on his GPA. My son is 1 class behind him at Dwenger and is taking the college courses as well.
His running style is very aggressive north and south, so he does not waste any time. I saw about 8 games this year, and not nearly all of the holes he exploited were that big. That being said, he is so quick to what hole is there, he doesn't give the d much time to react. Case in point, the hole on the first play on the tape was not very big. I was almost directly behind them at the time, and he saw the seam and hit it. He was so quick through, the D had no chance to react, and thus, went untouched for like 80 yards on a play right up the middle.
One of the issues may simply be the number of scholies we have to hand out this year.
I have no doubt he will pick up another star as the year goes on.

GO IRISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Per Allan Wallace

Iowa, MSU, and Ball St (all offered) lead over ILL, PU, and PSU (none offered). He's going to PSU's Spring Game and an offer would move them to the lead.

He has received a written offer from Geogia to camp there, and will also return to Florida for camp. His dad said they have not heard a peep from ND since the RB coach contacted his coach at Dwenger.

Still no offer from ND but he did pick one up from BC.

Scout gave him a 4th Star and lists him as their #20 RB.
