Dammit. They'll be lucky to make the NIT.

Oh well. Guess I'll watch Sleepless in Seattle now. Back to the regular programing.

I love Jackson and all but he cannot shoot, he needed to pass to Abromaitis on the lay I love him, but he pisses me off when he tries to shoot, he's better off just dishing the ball ut to someone

Had his career night. Take him and Gody out, and ND is just a bunch of intramural tough guys playing against a college basketball team.

ND will never contend until they get a coach that teaches fundamentals and defense. There is a reason why mid-majors are getting better than ever. They have better coaches than the mid-level big school teams.

I know he had his career night, and he stepped up he just forces to many shots and he's not a great shooter

He averages less than 8 FG attempts a game...most of his shots come at a time when the offense is stalling and Brey tells him to try and penetrate more. He is quite the pass-first point guard.

Brian Gregory, Dayton
Fran Dunphy, Temple
Ben Jacobson, Northern Iowa
Dave Rose, BYU
Steve Donahue, Cornell
Fran McCaffery, Siena

All would be great replacements for Brey. I like McCaffery and Gregory the best.

ND Falls to Seton Hall 90-87

ND Falls to Seton Hall 90-87

Notre Dame Official Athletic Site

2/11
Hazell hit 12 of 16 shots from the field and was clutch down the stretch, hitting a 3-pointer with 1:21 to go and a bank shot with 1:08 left as Seton Hall (13-9, 4-7 Big East) ended a six-game losing streak against Notre Dame (17-8, 6-6).
The Irish played most of the final 8:42 without All-America Luke Harangody. The nation's No. 3 scorer (24.5 points) appeared to sprain his left ankle coming down on a rebound attempt. Still, Notre Dame had two chances to tie the game in the closing seconds. Tim Abromaitis missed a 3-pointer with about 4 seconds to play and Carleton Scott missed another 3 at the buzzer.

And now Gody is out for the St. Johns game. If Brey is back next year they will be a bottom 4 team in the Big East. At least the win totals will be inflated by the pathetic OOC schedule.
