One thing I would love to ask him is how he plans to employ Defensive Coordinator Diaco's balanced 3-4 in the secondary. Diaco stresses a "Balanced 3-4" defense in which very little pre-snap motion and shifting occurs, so that the offense does not know what to expect. I would assume this would mean both safeties have similar roles - in other words, there is no "strong" and "free" safety specifically. I would like to see what his plans are for developing his defensive backs so that they are versatile enough to work within Diaco's scheme.

I'm not sure if it would be appropriate to ask in a public setting, but I wonder how smooth the transition from Grand Valley State to Notre Dame will be.

I think you should ask him if he has mbecka on his speed dial yet. Seriously though, I would like to know how he has adjusted to the speed difference from DII. Also, what is his safety net coverage (the coverage that he would call if he had to make something happen in the 4th quarter). WHere is the clinic being held? I've got 3 professional days left and if mbecka isn't going to straighten Alabama's strength coach out, I would LOVE to go hear him speak.

I would ask him what type of coverage he sees ND's current personnel playing as a base coverage. He's a great coach, met him a bunch of times, and is great at teaching coaching.
