New "Naughty Kiffin" Rumors

So this morning I got up early, the wifey was still asleep, and I ran across some Lane Kiffin rumor. I did a little digging and finally found my way to volnation.com, and boy, did I have some fun wasting an hour reading these 2 threads on Kiffin. The rumors going around involved hot tubs, co-eds, a white Lexus that he crashed, lots of drinking incidents, DUIs, affairs, his wife having affairs, and TMZ reporters being spotted in Knoxville (remember, they have a new sports division). They are out for blood, and more than a few people are claiming these things are absolutely true. Now, you'd think if he did all this stuff he'd be exposed a long time before this. But they swear he was being covered up by people who wanted him to succeed.

Anyways, I sat on this because it was all rumors. But these people swear the stuff is about to hit the fan. Finally, a couple of hours ago, a gossip website posted this article:

Again, it's just more rumors, but I thought I'd post it because, well, I really hate SC and I really hate Kiffin, but on top of that, this story hopefully will have legs. Of course, knowing my luck, now that I posted this it'll all come out that it was just one big lie LOL. But I hope not, 'cause these people are out for blood and the carnage will be fun to watch. Watch out for the "backlash" effect here.... while you might think this looks bad, imagine an 18 year old weighing 4 years of drunken hot-tubbing with gorgeous girls versus a school that won't let a girl in your dorm after midnight.

Just saying, if that was the only piece of information I had when choosing a school, I would have leaned away from parietals.

In other words, this might make Lane into an even more effective recruiter, unless there's something that gets the NCAA to crackdown on him in there.

Now, he explained something about being in a car wreck months ago by saying he fell asleep at the wheel, so that's how he'll spin this. But I'm telling you...these people are out for blood. They swear there was alcohol and co-eds involved in the accident, and the way he was out drinking a lot at the local bars (according to Tennessee fans), I wouldn't doubt it. Kiffin might as well come clean because they will stop at nothing to get him. And with TMZ supposedly in town? Damn Kiffy, better buckle up 'cause it's gonna be a wild ride...

You know what's really interesting... and maybe even telling in all this... and I'm surprised the media isn't all over it or started to ask some really hard questions about it.... is the fact that he left his brother-in-law (Reaves) out in the cold on this.

I was reading an article this morning that had quotes from the assistant coach that left Alabama to join LK in Tenn (can't remember his name) and he was talking about how Kiffin left everyone in the dark - including Reaves - and that it was the dirtiest thing he's ever witnessed in college coaching.

There are more rumors about Kiffin, the latest being that he committed his first secondary violation at SC by picking up a recruit from the airport in a limo, which is a no-no. The Vol boards were all over it; the SC boards were denying it. So who knows. Just saying it was out there...

do violations follow a coach? they should! every single violation that he makes in one place that gets found out about later, he should be punished with suspensions from games and the rest.
