Per ESPN.com: Still facing probe, USC's McKnight opts for draft

USC junior running back Joe McKnight said Friday that he will enter the upcoming NFL draft.

"The time is right," McKnight said. "This was my first healthy season and I really don't want to come back and risk injury."

I hope that the USC 'castle' begins to crumble due to the probe!

the time is right? Haha I am so glad to see him leave early. Remember how petrified we were when he, Marc Tyler, and Chris Galippo all committed to SC. The media said there could be a strong of NCs coming, etc. It just goes to prove that while recruiting as many top-class athletes is vital, you still need to find kids with a strong work ethic, pride, and a strong moral code. Does anyone have any ideas on how these SEC schools stay out of trouble, they cheat like its no tomorrow and you never get any reports or inuendos. last I checked Bama just won a title while being on probation....
