I don’t know why I am surprised, but I thought Cinn would put up more than 3 points in the first half, good grief.

Funny thing is that a Bearcat player said they didn't need Kelly in the Sugar Bowl, I bet they wish he was coaching this game now.....

Dude, I'm pretty sure this has very little to do with Kelly and very much to do with Florida being far far far far far far faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar more athletic than Cinci. Call it a hunch.

Yes, Bearcat players ran their mouths after Kelly's announcement. Now, they're getting their creases greased. I'd like to see the Gators hit 60.

Hahaha true story, this makes me kinda happy a little b/c I see that Kelly is a REAL leader and Cinn looks lost out there w/o him. But I still wanted the game to be entertaining like the Northwestern game. Holy crap that was a game.

Are you always this angry? Every post you make, you seem pissed off at the world or you want to rub someone's face in their own crap.

What gives?

it has nothing to do with Kelly.

it is the difference between being used to Big East competition and now playing an upper level SEC team.

yea ur right Florida is better but you would think that Cinn could catch some balls and Pike not run backwards 15 yards before the throws the ball.

They threw Kelly under the bus. I listened to WLW leading up to the event and the aftermath. The players, fans, media personalities were gutless.

"He was a great coach for us but he's moved on. We will need to suck it up and soldier on." Would that have worked?

It's an angry world.

This FL game is men against boys. Actually, it's MOTIVATED men against boys. A ton of guys on this FL team is playing their last game for FL, and they are playing for their unhealthy coach. Hell, they had such a great practice that they convinced Liar to go against everything he told his family (and the nation) the night before about quitting. These guys were fired up, and oh, they were playing a program in turmoil, without their head coach. This result was soooooo predictable.

Some ND fans are melting down because of this loss LOL. Anybody who thinks that this game is an indicator of ND's future needs to put the pipe down and chill the eff out. I went on a couple of rivals' boards real quick, and NOBODY was saying that this indicates that Kelly will do the same thing at ND. You could say that this just shows how incredible it was that he even took his team to 12-0, considering how obviously poor in talent they are. This loss doesn't worry me in the least. Losing out on a kid like Anthony Barr would worry me a lot more than this loss...

It is also the difference between coached up 5 star recruits and coached up 3 star recruits. This is why Kelly has to be a good recruiter as well as a good coach.

True, I think Cincinnati fans were delusional to think that Kelly would stay there for 10-20yrs or so anyway. There pissed off b/c they will have come back to reality one day and realize that their success could be the pinnacle of their football program. I’m mean come on its Cincinnati for peat sakes.

Ur right about the 5* and 3* thing. Now would you say that this result would indicate what would happen if Boise State or TCU played one of the big boy programs, al la Texas, Florida, Ohio State ect.?

Remember Boise State beat Oklahoma 3-4 years ago in the Fiesta Bowl.......

Depends on the circumstances. Did their head coach leave? Were their players devastated and distracted? Did their interim head coach already have a foot out of the door because he was taking a job at another school? Did they have their head coach in waiting watching from the sidelines? Was their program in disarray?

Also, is the team they are playing (TX, OSU, etc) playing for the future and pride of their head coach? Did they have such rousing practice sessions that their head coach, who had resigned, changed his mind? Was that team super-motivated, as opposed to most great teams playing weaker teams who sleepwalk through practices and the game (think, Bama-Utah last year)? Is they team they are playing the most talented team in the nation, playing with what some people say the greatest leader in the history of the sport?

If all those things are true, then yes, I think Boise St or TCU would be blown out...

I had to laugh when I saw the old uni's back for Florida. New ones musta went right in the trash after the Bama loss.

I figured Florida would win just didn't expect a total clock cleaning.

love the Cincy defensive players giving the crowd the gator chomp after a sack down 44-10. lol

Tebow has been great tonight. Did anyone expect anything else? The only chance Cincy had was to rattle Tebow and hope to outscore the Gators. Florida's D has been impressive. their front has controlled the game.

He's got to live it up before he plays fullback for the next two years.

Hahah I loved the breakdown of his throwing mechanics and how much a team is going to have to teach him if he wants to be a pro QB. A summery would be, you may be better off re-inventing the wheel then to have Tebow play and be a productive pro QB.

How many Tebow tears will it take to play in the NFL? Seriously, I kinda wanted Cincy to look flat without Kelly, making him look that much more essential to their success.

How smart was it giving Urban Meyer a gatorade bath at the end of the game. " Guys I have a great idea, lets surprise coach, by pouring this freezing cold liquid on him. Its not like he is leaving because of a heart condition."

That reminds me of the Patriots Super Bowl when they dumped the Gatorade on Belichick when his 80 year old dad was standing right next to him.

Over the fine play of the conference and how it is positioning itself to run things in college football. Penn St held its own but Cinn was destroyed and I'm hoping Texas can hang with Ala. If the SEC is that better than everyone else they are going to be calling the shots for a while in this BCS deal. This kind of dominance is not good for the college game. If I have to hear Tebows last game/half/quarter/play/footstep on a college field one more time I'm going to pass out. They are already guessing how bad Texas gets blasted by Ala. It would be good for the game if Texas wins. Dont think it will happen. I'd like to see the SEC final record in these bowl games since they sent 10 teams, it will be significant as a sign of how far ahead of everyone else they really are.

whats the big deal?? isnt the SEC just 3-3 in bowl games so far??

heck, the big 10 is 3-2 so far.

of course im not saying the big 10 =sec, but the SEC has in no way had a dominant bowl season to this point.

I can agree with that for sure. BUT.......If Kelly were coaching this game there is NO way Florida wins like they did. Florida probly still would have won but not that bad. Cincy aint shit without Kelly.
