He needed to somewhat prove himself this season & time was running out. Quite honestly he has been downright awful.

He may get another season to prove himself to Holmgrem but I doubt. He'll be traded off to some 3rd string position somewhere never to be heard from again.

Just hope he hasn't affected JC's stock.

Dubious timing to say the least. Wasn't he due to make more money based on the snaps taken. The cleveland brass probably has somthing to do with this one. Brady deserves to be named the starter next year from day 1.

disagree 100 percent. you gotta give him a real shot at the job. the start. sit. start. sit. approach cant be good for anyone.

I dunno man I think they've killed his confidence. He just looks terrible. I really hope he gets another shot at it & capitalizes but I really think they've failed at nurturing him into a pro QB & I'm not convinced he can overcome it now that its been this long.

He needs to go to a team with some talent around him. The Browns are freakin' awful...even Tom Brady would look like crap with the Browns receiving corps.

I have definitely not been impressed with Brady Quinn so far. His accuracy is downright awful, he even throws three yard screens inaccurately. His two deep bombs against the Ravens both sailed ten to fifteen yards out of bounds.

However, he has no receivers and a crap offensive line.

holmgren will install a west coast offense that will suit brady quinn perfectly.

you cant be expected to be running for your life a ll game and have a good career. look at harrington, and carr.

i would trade derek anderson for some draft picks and maybe a decent receiver. and go with quinn as the guy next year.

thats the smartest thing i have ever read !! hahaha i was bummed that the 49ers didnt trade up to take him, but i figured they wouldnt since we already had a 1st RD draft pick under Alex Smith a couple years before. I do love are early 1st RD pick that we took though in Patrick Willis.

I totally agree with you on this, Quinn is stuck in a hell whole right now (the Browns), and until they start making some good draft picks and picking up some solid free agents (they arent going to get any better anytime soon). Brady Quinn is made for the West Coast Offense period, i can see him as the next Joe Montana-Steve Young type of Quarterback running that offense. Brady needs an OL that will protect (Joe Thomas) is a good start, but they need more. And at WR/TE wow losing Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow wasn't going to help Brady at all !! He has a very good up in coming star at RB though in Jerome Harrison (this guy rushed for 1,996 yards 16 TD, his senior year at Washington St) he was a big time sleeper.
