I voted for Weaver, but only because I'm pretty sure Tuck is going to run away with this. And I'm saving my Laws vote for DT.

Although it might be a stretch to put Trevor in the DE vote, no one played with more passion than this guy.

We have sorely missed him the last two years.

Tuck.

Time to shamelessly name drop. One of my wife's closest friend's in college was Tuck's girlfriend. They got married in Alabama 2 Aprils ago (just after he signed that huge contract), and since my wife and I had been dating for a year, I got to go. A few things:

A. Tuck is built like a freakin' rock. Dude is big.

B. He's a really nice guy from a GREAT Alabama family. That family has their priorities straight; I was very impressed with their devotion to faith, family, and education. His brother gave a great 'best man' speech.

C. Ryan Grant was one of his best men. My wife and I took separate flights home (because I was a cheap-ass and found a cheaper flight), and guess who was on her flight on the way home? Ryan Friggin' Grant. She has classes with him and knew him well, so they hung out for over an hour and a half at the airport waiting to board. I could have shot the breeze with an NFL RB coming off a break-out year, who happened to play football with a guy named Brett Favre who was thinking of signing w/ Minn or (eventually) the Jets at the time. Instead, I saved $100. Answer this: Would you pay $100 to hang out with a down-to-earth NFL star with intimate info on one of the greatest QBs and also one of the most dramatic prima-donnas ever to play the game? I don't know what's worse, the fact that I'm so cheap, or the fact that I would definitely spend $100 to hang out with another male.

D. It was a really cool wedding. The Tuck family is another reason why I love ND...

Laws because he was an every down player. Tuck was not always the every down guy for his career, but a specialist.

1. Justin Tuck 2. Victor Abiamiri are great 4-3 style defense of players and 3. Anthony Weaver 4. Trevor Laws are great 3-4 type of defense of players.

Sorry to say but Ryan may not have spent an hour and a half with your wife if you were there.

No doubt! I figured that I would stay out of the way and just text her questions LOL.

BTW, Grant's date to the wedding, as you would expect from an NFL player, was stunning. Short hair, model-like, looked kinda like Rhianna...
