I thought the Notre Dame line was bad this year...but this....wow dont know if this has been posted yet but...wow

oh, that's hilarious - almost unbelievable that a player would just freeze up.

I read that he was coached to do that.They said that it happens during FSU games all of the time. If the defense jumps offsides, the center snaps it and the entire o-line doesn't move. Something about drawing attention to the offsides and possibly getting the corners to stop covering the recievers because they see the linemen not moving. People are saying that the center missed the snap count and the rest of the line assumed that there was an offsides.

They did it again later in the game, but the next time the entire line did not move the entire play. Too strange. Either they were disciplined in their "freeze" play, or that was a mutiny and the reason Bownden split. I hope someone can find the video of that other play.

that play could actually work well as a draw, if the line started blocking once the quarterback took off
