I love having charlie as a head coach, I am fine with him coming back again after a losing season. Although this is unlikely. So I would hope that charlie and his love for ND would continue and he would help find a great coach. I mean he knows if ND got a great coach in there they would not lose any commitments and still gain a couple five star player, who seem would impact the program right away.

I hope it doesn't get messy between Charlie and ND. He's a pretty good guy, just couldn't get the job done. I think it would be pretty sweet if he could swallow his pride and the new guy retained him as OC. A head coach could keep his playcalling in check. It won't happen, obviously. Charlie more or less said he's had it with college.

I too agree w/ keeping CW, if an elite coach doesn't want an elite job. I, for the life of me, can't figure out who the best choice is though!

Pretty sure CW wouldn't hang on as OC........he'd be making more $$$$ than the HC, and what HC could handle that?
