Who plays opposite Floyd as the other wide receiver?

Roseanne's sitcom hubby John Goodman? Shaq Evans? Duval Kamara? Deion Walker?

I'm inclined to think it'll be Goody. He's got long strides, a big frame, and he can stretch the field with some pretty nice wheels.

Goodman is getting the most reps of the young guns. Shaq and Deion have huge upsides as well

still think Tate stays

if he leaves and weis is no longer the coach, i'm sure a new coach, who wins by teaching fundamentals, will develop the talent on the other side of Floyd.

hopefully deion on the outside and shaq as the slot, deion has some serious talent but appears to be lacking muscle and blocking, shaq is similar to GT, im still not sold on Goody, hes a good athlete but he could just end up like Parris, solid but not a gamebreaker like Deion and Shaq

Golden is a incredible athlete that stands out on the collegiate level. That advantages diminishes greatly in the pro where almost every player is a great athlete. He would greatly benefit from an extra year in college to work on his technique.

Does anyone know where he stands as a baseball player?

i dont think he should or will stay another year i just dont see how his stock could go up in another year.

it would appear that goodman would be the guy judging on reps, but reps as a 3rd dont really amount to much as far as the next 1 is concerned.

i would like to think shaq will do something but he hasnt had much time to show anything the past number of weeks.

kamara doesnt appear to have the hands to be depended upon..... which seems to be a neverending story.

Actually, if you going on reps, then Kamara is without a doubt the guy that the coaches would expect to step in and play.

I agree with you about the level of skill in NFL, but I don't see why Tate shouldn't take the money and run. If some pro scouts think he makes a good pro receiver, he'll leave. He is far and away one of the top receivers and athletes in college football. His hands are strong and he can jump. His money won't be greater in 2011 than in 2010. If he's selfish, he'll realize that Floyd could hog a lot of the action next year, and maybe he disappears from the radar for a while. That's not good for his money. The young man is gone, I'm sorry to say.

It's strange to think of the Tate of 2007 (frosh with 6 catches) to now. He has had a turn-around unlike any player I remember. If there is a more exciting player in college football, I'd like to see him. Maybe even in recent CFB history? I know what you are thinking....and Reggie Bush can suck it.

Reggie Bush and his family are Douche bags. Golden will need to see what his draft projections might be. HE will not be a first round draft choice. He is listed in the top 5 WR's and may not be in the top 10. HE is the Tebow of WR. Great college WR that may not translate too well in the pros. Good luck to him but he is a stud at the CFB level.

have to disagree on that one. He has all the tools to make it. the only drawback is his height. He is a 1st rounder if he stays one more year

I am completely with Jason on this one. All of you guys who think he isn't a legit NFL prospect are completely ignorant then of what makes an NFL WR prospect. You don't beat triple coverage with just speed, there has to be a certain level of route running skills and technique needed and he has it. He is one of the best WRs in recent memory after the catch and he is incredibly talented at finding the soft spots in coverages.

His combine scores would be off the charts with probably around a 4.4 40 and an insane vertical. He also is a punt and kick returner and a running back, and if you watch the NFL today, many teams are beginning to shift towards those jack-of-all-trades players. Ronnie Brown, Darren Sproles, Ahmad Bradshaw, Felix Jones, Leon Washington, Josh Cribbs, Chris Johnson, all players who excel at more than one thing. Let's also not forget that Percy Harvin was a first rounder last year and he is smaller than Golden is. He also isn't as strong as Golden and obviously not as durable so our boy absolutely has the chance to be a first-round pick and successful WR in the NFL. That all being said, I really hope my boy stays.

I'm a huge Packers fan so forgive me for the reference, but Golden reminds me soo much of Donald Driver. Driver is one of the best receivers in the NFL and has consistently been, without getting as much media coverage. Both are incredible athletes (Driver qualified for the '96 Olympics in High Jump), have strong hands, play the game with an immense passion, and can leave defenders searching for their jockstraps. Golden might be even a better deep threat than Driver with his speed - but I think it should be taken as a compliment to compare Golden to Driver.

Whether he leaves or stays next year, I think Golden has the chance to be a very, very good NFL player - certainly fun to watch.
