And when Tebow won the Heisman... he dropped (how many kids?) three games.

All of the teams Florida lost to finished in the Top 20. ND has lost one game to a Top 20. The other losses were to Navy (come on it's Navy) and a very average Michigan.

Plus, Tebow accounted for 51 touch downs that season.

-Fumbles at the one

- throws the ball into his WR back (even though Floyd should be turned around)

- Takes 2 sacks in a row that he can not take no matter what

- Doesn't make it happen against USC in 3 try's

- Should have blown UM out of the water

- ND needs to get into a BCS game but will not.

Grealty improved but the upside to his slide in the Heisman race will be that returns nxt year. He won't even get invited.

I just went through that list to show that teams that have lost have had Heisman winners. It has quieted some of the boo-birds and trolls.

No one is saying he isn't deserving. I wouldn't want anyone else leading my offense. Fact remains in this day and age that he will be passed over due to the losses this year.

Jimmy is a great qb and as mentioned before in the post that ND needs to win for him to actually have a chance. I'd love to see him win it and maybe he will defy all odds and win the dang thing. If you look at it jimmy can put up the heisman-like stats but without the wins such as Saturday ( JC posted a 156.0 qb rating, 452yrds, 2 td's 1 int 72.5 comp %.) you need the win to make you a legitment heisman winner chance. IMO, the fumble at the goaline and the int really really hurt his chances. yes some may argue that it wasnt JC's fault on the int because floyd wasnt turned but as a qb that is something you have to see, before you throw it. hell i would have been happier with a throw away then a int. but in the game of football shit happens that you dont want to happen sometimes shit happens when you want it to happen. The fumble really pissed me off, what was he thinking of running straight up and down for!!!!! If he lowers his shoulder he could have possibly got the TD and instead of taking a blow to the wrist he could have taken it to the shoulder and wouldnt have had to lie on the group for 5 minutes. IF he stays next year i think he will be a front runner all year if we win the big games next year. nuff said.
