One trip to Provo and you'll never feel a need to go back there. Don't forget to pack your own alcohol unless you're content to settle for the watered down shit they call beer in Utah. And, if you should choose not to bring your alcohol, then make sure you load up on Saturday because they don't sell alcohol on Sunday!!

Spoken like a true Montana fella. I lived in Wisdom for six moths one time. Butte was one of the better places to get groceries. Bad ass St. Patty's day celebration there. The statue on the mountain is sweet.

That being said, the state liquor stores in Utah do sell real alchohol, which is considered anything other than 3.2% alchohol per volume. There are a ton of good looking girls but they are certainly good girls for the most part. The cities in UT rank among the lowest in the nation for crime. Mormons are everywhere but they are really nice people. And the scenery is gorgeous... They also have good and fast drivers with easy interstate access to the stadium. If we could schedule a late fall game, we could get down on some great skiiing and snowboarding. Best snow on earth...

Oh yeah, and we could beat the Cougar's asses...:awesomewo

Just another stadium. Dry town. Women have large boobies and are all good looking. No big whoop.

I live in Salt Lake and I can verify everything said here. You can get real beer and alcohol in the liquor stores though. Which, I am not sure if they have any liquor stores in Provo...I try not to spend too much time there.

Big Hole guy, huh? Wisdom is a beautiful place, when I was a beer guy I was the salesman/drive in the Big Hole (sold off the truck). It was my favorite route--Wise River, Wisdom, Jackson--always a good day.

As far as UT....the alcohol content is lower and, last time I was there, they cut me off after six beers--which wasn't even enough to catch a buzz! I think there's some good skiing in Montana too....but I'm not going to post that publicly for all the residents of California to read (no offense my California friends, but we've had about enough of Californians up here!!)

SLC isn't too bad. We have some good friends down there right now-- Husband and wife both attending UofU--one for Arabic studies and the other nursing. SLC is more progressive than people think and the MoMos do have a habit of keeping their towns really clean.

Just can't get over the alcohol laws though.

You lush.

Ever stop by Fetty's? Fetty burger rocks man. Ham and fried egg on a burger. Lots of beer too. Talk about COLD! The Big Hole Valley is cold man. -15 degrees F the day I left in November. I think it was the first week in Nov. too...

Cali sells alcohol until 2 a.m. everyday. Imagine that.

Same here....of course some of the bars just lock the door and keep selling after 2 a.m. as well. That's definitely--in Montana--unique to where I live. I've enjoyed it on a few occassions--of course going home at six in the morning and waking up at one in the afternoon sick as hell was never really a good idea....though it always seemed brilliant at the time.

Yeah, Fetty's was on the route. Big Hole Crossing, Fetty's, Wisdom Market and Antlers. Then I'd swing up to Jackson Hot Springs, Jackson Mercantile and the Wild Rose. Antlers has the best pizza ever!

End of the fire season. I used to work for the Forest Service and BLM throughout the states. I spent a season in Montana. Great place. Great memories.

Oh yes. There were a lot of bad fires up there a few years ago. I think that summer the rainbow people held their revival up in the Big Hole area. Wild times....it was like Wood Stock except those people live that life every day. People were walking around naked, smoking weed and digging holes in the ground, shitting and then covering the holes. I spent a day up with them just to see it--fucking wild.

Yup haha. That was the season I was there. Back in 2000. We had the big Mussigbrod Complex from a dry lightning storm that went over Chief Joe Pass. Like over 100 starts. The Bitterroot was in bad shape too.

The Rainbow Gathering was awesome man. So strange. It was back toward Jackson.

That was a hazy summer in Southwest Montana--for more reasons than just the fires if you know what I mean.

Gotta love the FS man. It was certainly a hazy summer. Semi-kind buds up there in 'ol Montucky.

Maybe we can arrange to swap some games around so we can open the season with a warm up game. It'd be a guaranteed win.

Deju vu all over again.

That would actually be great. Then they could go beat up on the Sooners afterwards.

I just want to go to a game at that stadium. It's not like I am looking to live there.
