Sadly I think RBs are a dime a dozen. Several NFL teams have proven this point. Find someone that can hold the ball and runs North/South. Add some speed, even better.
If he sucks... SAFETY!

Weis has shown freshman have an opportunity on his team. Meanwhile ND's RB corps are still longer on potential than they are on results.
There was a recent article on Urban Meyer's lack of success recruiting RBs. Something about his scheme and play calling may not be attractive to RBs with NFL aspirations.
How can anyone attack Urban's recruiting? His offense does fine with the backs he can recruit. (Chris Rainey, Jeffrey Demps, Percey Harvin). Plus he recruits so phenomenal with so many other positions it seems silly.
But, with Florida out of the equation for James, that really helps our cause. He would be a great pickup for RB for 2010.
I believe Alford is helping in James recruitment but yeah Polian is responsiblr for alot of guys. To his credit he always gets us high 4 and 5 star players though
Where did polian come from anyways?
What school did he come from?

Jordon James (Corona, Calif.) took his first official visit to Washington over the weekend ...
"It was a good visit, I really enjoyed myself there," James said. "The campus is great, it's a beautiful place and the city of Seattle fits me well because it's so laid back and I was real comfortable there.
"Keith Price was my host and he was cool, I got along well with the all the players there actually. Overall, I thought it was a great visit and I can definitely see myself at Washington for the next four years of my life."
James' next visit will be to Cal (Oct. 3) followed by Notre Dame (Oct. 17). In November he will visit Arizona and UCLA.
He'll announce his college choice at the Under Armour All-American game January 2.
Jordan James – The California speedster has visits remaining, and he has a test score that he must improve. The latter is often times a deal breaker for the Irish. I do not like the odds of James ending up in South Bend.
moved up his announcement date
Will decide in the next month. Down to UCLA, Cal, Washington and Notre Dame.
