Being cliche is being cautious with the media. He is from a football family, he knows better than to stir things up. That is why I don't understand the stretch limo and 4 national championship prediction. Maybe the backlash was so severe he is being really careful to change his image?

Clausen's interviews are pretty weak. Dan Patrick loads up really great questions and is one of the best interviewers around. Pretty good interview though.

If you want to see the King of You Know, watch a Zibby interview. He uses it in-between every word.

I think Clausen started almost every answer with "To be honest..."

A little annoying, but it was the first interview I've heard with him, so enjoyable nonetheless.

A lot of people have speech crutches, particularly when speaking in public. As long as he lights up the Trojan defense and gets us a victory like I believe he will, I don't care if he sounds like a drunken lemur in heat!*

I know Golden somewhat personally, and he is one of the cockiest human beings that I have ever met, which usually does not result in great interviews. Good Youtube videos but not great interviews.

It could also be coaches telling them how to approach the media. You don't hear stupid comments out of them like the Washington kid who said that they really won.

That interview was like a pomeranian barking in my ear from 2 centimeters. I said he was a crappy interview and he made me look good. Brady Quinn was a great talker, compared to Brady, Jimmy sounds like one of Bowdens boys. Although Jimmy is better than Brady at quarterbacking right now. CW doesnt let these guys talk much so it isnt Jimmys fault he isnt polished. Chris Zorich is still the best interview out there.
