You've gone the way of NDOM now TKO? Eu tu Bruti?

I think we could give Ohio State a game.

No crap, what r u talking about TKO? Pryor scored one touchdown on Sat. and Wisconsin's D is horrific. Now, if you would have said OSU's D would eat our lunch, I may have agreed.

Ohio State is way overrated this year, they are a top 25 team not a top 10 team. for Good D and very mediocre Offense.

Florida is living in the past?
Beating the Vols at home by 10 and LSU on the road by 10 should not strike fear in may opponents. Tebow (good guy) is living in the past and any talk of Heisman for this guy should be out the window. The Florida D is great but I truly believe our offense is better than theirs. Are we a better team? Probably not but this FL team doen not look nearly as good as it's predecessors. The same can certainly be said of many of the other mainstay powerhouse teams in CFB this year(Ohio St. USC, Texas, Ok etc.). While I think we have a ways to go I do think we are closing the gap. I think Bama looks like the only dominant team so far. We'll see how things play out. Alot of games to go. If FL can stop the Hogs offense next week that will be something (although the Tide sure did it).

Like John Saunders said - he has to look at who you played to get those stats -so he's going with Colt McCoy:

College Football Power Ratings - College FB Strength of Schedule Power Rating on TeamRankings.com

I think they had Jimmy on - because they know if he has a good day against USC - he's the man of the moment.

I see it then, that barring a catastrophe game (Like Brady had against USC at end of season) - Jimmy will then be the front runner. ESPN knows it.

'Course, I gotta see if Bradford keeps having 400+ yard days with a recovering shoulder, and then a tweaked knee game and coming back on the field - he may be a concussion and broken finger nail from sewing it up.

Except For Bama and Florida there is no one in the SEC to be scared about. Matter of fact there is no other team in the country that i wouldnt like our chances against. Head to head i like our chances against the rest of the top 25

I wouldn't want to play Arkansas anytime soon. And Snead would carve up NDs secondary like the Thanksgiving dinner I just ate. (Yes I am Canadian)

You're kidding, right! Snead can't even carve pumpkin right on halloween, let alone a defense.

Again i know this team is flawed but how about watching other teams and see their flaws.

Snead was most overrated coming into the season - after his Thursday night reality check he's hoping they replay his game last year against Florida - it got them ranked and his name on a ballot - along with Spurrier's assistant screwing up.

Im in the heart of Buckeye land and MOST OF THEM say they're overated. I have been saying it from the time they lost to the condoms a few weeks ago. Which also leads me to believe USC is NOT untouchable which is obvious guys because they lost to the Huskies.
I believe Kmoose said in another thread "our guys have to start believing in themselves" which I agree with. USC has that untouchable attitude which is contaigious, credit to Pete, but thats how are guys have to be. They had it years ago.........I think this weekend is when they get it back.

I BELIEVE !!!

KEEP THE FAITH !!!

I honestly think that the fact that we beat Washington and USC did not could be the difference in this game. I think the players know that because of that win, we can hang with USC. Could be the difference between keeping the game close early (which I think we have to do to have a chance) and coming out flat and going down early like 06,07,08.

The "Team A lost to Team B, but Team C beat Team B, therefore Team C should beat Team A" argument is extremely flawed.

Ya why dont you read what I said next time. I didnt say they would win because of that. I'm just saying the ND players and coaches even said they didnt overlook washington because washington had already beaten usc. ND will probably use similar logic and wont come out intimidated against usc because they know that they have already beaten a team (washington) who beat usc. Therefore, unlike the past two years, ND will hopefully actually think they can win. And I know all about team A, team B, and team C. In 2006 and 2007 we beat teams who USC lost to. Didnt make us better.

There's been a lot of talk about Jimmy leaving after this year -Jimmy came to Notre Dame to be a legend - remember his announcement - HOF!!!! Can't be HOF unless All-American. Talk about Legend - Imagine one more year like this one (assuming it continues with same success) - Hanratty, Browner, Gipp, Montana, Theisman, Leahy, Zorich, Lujack, Brown, Rocket, - but with first name recognition Ara, Knute, Lou - - - Jimmy!!!!

The only people talking about Jimmy leaving are the fans. I will worry about it at the end of the year.
