Honestly I havent looked at these polls but I did since it was posted. Really let out a laugh-the teams with a loss that drops out like Wisconsin/Auburn-its really a laugh. Auburn/Wisconsin for example would take some of those teams apart that are in the top 25. Man they are just guessing. Its chic to stick Boise St and TCU in there now but it aint smart. I like what they've done to Notre Dame, more fuel for the train. I dont care if I'm the QB at Iowa to have them rated 11 is just silly-#$%@ they havent lost yet. Maybe this whole thing needs redone, I think the sports media is just screwing around to make sense of a playoff. Like some of these surprise teams are legit and would hang with 2/3 place big conference schools-nice concept but lets get real. My big beef is that yes they can play well in a bowl game now and then but try playing a SEC schedule/Notre Dame schedule ( which is much better than given credit for ) Big 12/ or even an ACC schedule-notice I didnt include the little 11 because they've made a joke of their non conference games. You can see thru this like a window pane, they know what they're doing. Its manipulation of the system to get what they want. I know I'll get heat for this statement but I liked it before with an open market and no conference tie/ins. The old way you could see a real mix of teams on bowl day. $$$$$ are driving this thing and its driving it like a drunk.
