I like the 05 ones, yea even though they were not "Kelly green” I though they looked sweet. But honestly if I see us bring out anything other than the blue and gold I will probably start to cry.

I live in Oregon near a team that doesn't have to wear the same uniform for 120 seasons of college football.

We have whites, we have blues, and we have greens. That's IT!

I would be really upset if they came out in blacks or yellows or friggin wings on their helmets.

Personally, I love the black uniform idea. Except I would say green numbers outlined in gold. The green on black (yes similar to Hawaii too) would look sweet.

Those "stones" might get a tad "over exposed." Then there's the whole "bad ass" thing. In high-def, no less!

i am going to be there and i'm going to wear blue. in my eyes, ND is blue and gold, and green doesn't work in my wardrobe. i will promptly puke on the stadium seat in front of me when the irish rush out in green uniforms and then i will begin cheering after that. my stomach hates green jerseys.

Uniform color is not going to help! It would positively pump up USC! I have every confidence, that the Irish win this game. the color green used to come out for very special occasions. as of the late the greens are coming out on a regular basis and it's a very bad trend.

they used to come out to inspire the team and get them motivated and proud to wear the color during a big game. the current group of people making the decision are doing it just to sell some extra stuff out of the bookstore.

the last time the green had any meaning was during the Cotton "cheerio" Bowl against Florida when the irish "didn't belong there". and perhaps the 05 U$C game.

now the jersey is just a marketing tool used by the university and Addidas to sell more gear. and it's frankly a bunch of BS to toy with tradition like that. the green has no mystic anymore.

just play the game in the home blue uniform please. don't cheapen tradition.

I love seeing the Irish rush on the field in their green Jerseys. But to me, wearing them the last two times the Trojans came to South Bend just gives the perception that we they deserve it, that they're important. USC is just on another team on the schedule. Nothing more. Blue and Gold is all they deserve, and barely at that!
