I know. I know. Everyone and there mother has made a similar thread as the one I am about to write, but isn't that the reason we are here?

I know it does not show in the scoreboards but this team has improved a lot of ways.

1. The most important of all. Heart. This team is 3-1 because of nothing but good old fashioned heart. no egos. no bullshit. just classic Muhammad Ali heart that keeps you swinging.

2. Dline. They actually did something right! they slowed down a decent runner to 76 yards or something like that? Whatd he average 136?

3. Offensive playcalling for the most part. The play calls are growing more confident. Instead of the bullshit pitch and catch thats predictable CW threw in some wrinkles that show he believes in the unit. I love how he got creative gettin the ball into goldens hands. When allen gets back they should do some formations with Golden and AA in the backffield and have JC go to WR. Or like motion into it. Have JC line up under center, tate wide and AA in the backfield. motion clausen out wide, allen behind center and tate on the wing. defenses would be so confused/

4. Clausen- A leader of men. He became the man we all were dying to see.

5. New faces of the future got some time. With Jimmy and AA back full go. Next week is going to be fun.

I know they still have tons of work to do. CW still doesnt do it for me. I think at best hes a top 13-20 coach. Hes never fielded a top 40 defense (i dont believe) I dont see him gettin ND a crystal ball but hopefully I am wrong. GO IRISH

I'm confused just reading it...just messin with ya...would you just follow up anything I write with the positive side...I lack ballance...seriously though, pretty good points.

Great post man. Hey I can't complain at all. Our offense took a beating the week before and we were definetly less productive, but a win is a win. I honestly like the situation we are in. We have showed enough poise so that we can win. And everyone in the country sees us just barely holding on to win the last 2 weeks. They aren't expecting too much from us, now is the time for ND to go into the Washington game and just destroy them. Then we have 2 weeks to prepare for USC. GO IRISH!

Just watched the game again.

H-E-A-R-T.

Wish we would have capitalized on the massive time of possession advantage in the 3rd quarter. Letting Tausch take a shot at a bomb or a pooch punt would have been a better call on 4th and 10.

Rudolph is money. That's whom we have to worry about leaving after 2010.

We have got a lot of weapons. Dayne has got a bazooka. Hope CW is still around to gameplan that offense in 2011.

I think we'll be ok next week.

Rudolph is amazing! I knew as soon as he threw his hand up that we won that game.

I saw an article that said that he told Jimmy just to throw him the ball in the huddle and Jimmy just told him to get open!

Would have loved to see Tausch try the long FG, just to see if he has the leg if we need him to win one from there like we did against Syracuse last year.
