Is anybody else afflicted with this heart-wrenching disease?

The month of September is near. I have so much to look forward to that my days go by at a crawl. A bloody crawl. I have...

1. The Notre Dame opener on September 5th. This is usually the most anticipated day of the year for me. These next twelve days will be absolute torture. This has been the longest offseason of my life, because this year is the first time I have seen a team with this much championship potential.

2. September 8th is the beginning of the new school year. Friends, class, and all of those hated Michigan fans. Ah, the joy.

3. September 17th is the season premiere of the Office, my favorite show.

4. September 22nd is the day the new Sonata Arctica album comes out. One of my favorite bands.

This has been the loooooooongest offseason EVER.

Couldn't agree more CTF! This offseason has felt like the longest, most painful one in recent memory. The next 12 days can't go by fast enough. September is pretty big for me too:

September 5th: ND opener - actually a bigger deal around my house than Christmas or my birthday.

September 12th morning: I am running a half marathon in the morning. Gearing up for the LA Marathon in May.

September 12th afternoon: Watch the Irish stomp the snot out of Meat Chicken.

September 15th: First LA Kings preseason game. My season tickets came on Friday and I am so freakin' excited for hockey!

September 24th: My wife and I are taking a long awaited trip to Napa Valley!

Can't wait!!! This summer has been excruciating!!!

3. September 17th is the season premiere of the Office, my favorite show.

That's my show too! It's funny, on Friday my TV volume went out when I use DirectTV, so I could only use DVD's. When I was home, I threw in Season 4 of The Office (I've got all 4 seasons plus the British version). My birthday was yesterday, and my wife preordered The Office Season 5 as one of my gifts...needless to say that was my favorite gift of the day!!!

And the reason this offseason has felt so damn long is because for the first time in 3 years we have a legitimate chance at a BCS game, and it feels good to say that again. We all just want to see if the team can live up to its potential, and if CW can be the coach we need him to be. Can't friggin wait!!!

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice! There should be some good stuff this upcoming season. Jim and Pam are supposedly getting married in this next season.
