Well he can't play until week 7 and I know our backup QB went down this week soooo I still have no clue. I'm very interested in the press conference.

Think of how dangerous their offense could be if they have Vick line up at slot receiver. They could do SO much by him and McNabb on the field at the same time. Defenses won't have any idea whats going on.

They should just start Vick. I think he's such a better quarter back. McNabb is gettin old.

Being in Philly I can tell you 2 things thus far:

1) Sounds like the eagles organization and players are highly optimistic. As noted above he will probably be used as a slot receiver or in wildcat

2) Majority of the fans are PISSED.

Polish, I've been eatching First Take this morning and I'm watching the presser right now. I'm SHOCKED at the Philly fans for being outraged. The Daily News headline about putting your dogs away was stupid, juvenile, sensationalist, and just plain bull shit.

Vick said all the right things in the presser. I'm not a fan of his, esp before the dogs incident when he just wasn't a very good QB but would never take responsibility for his 'suckiness'. And then the dog fighting thing and his ego just pissed me off. But now, with all the bullshit Peta people after him and the Phili fans hating him, I'm rooting for him. I hope he's truly learned to be a better man, and now I'm rooting for him.

I like the signing. Shocking, but I like it in the sense that Andy Reid is innovative and can do some really fun things with that lineup.

Oh, and Eagle, he can come back before the 6th game, and I really think Goodell will reinstate him earlier if he continues to show remorse and stay clean...

I was as upset as anyone about the dog incident and it made me absolutely sick. However, even I think some of the stuff that is being done and said is bullshit. Telling people to put their dogs away? That sucks. He wasn't roaming the streets looking for dogs to slaughter.

I hate what he did and I might not ever "forgive" him. With that being said, someone in his position now can be a very powerful advocate against dog fighting and his voice might be able to change a lot of young minds and end this terrible practice. I have started to change my mind after hearing him speak. I was really hoping he would be permanently banned, but now I am really starting to think if he uses his position wisely, he can emerge from this and become a better man and, hopefully, work to cause a change in the younger generation.

Anyone watching today's game? I'm stuck working at home and do not want to be distracted. I love animals, and what he has done is despicable. But I thought the punish was a little harsh when rapists and murders could get lighter sentences.

I think he would make a good advocate thou.
