24 days in "jail" for getting behind the wheel drunk as hell at 3 am and killing an innocent bystandard? This is a complete joke. I know this happens all of the time with athletes who have "money" to get out of hard time...It's simply embarassing if you ask me...If this were a "normal" human being he'd get around 10 years at the minimum...This is manslaughter and he gets 24 days??? This just pisses me off...I hope I'm not the only one who feels this way! Sorry I had to vent...

I'm not condoning his behavior in ANY WAY - but even "normal" people don't get 10 years of hard time. There was a man who killed a former teacher of mine on her way to school one morning. He was drunk and it was his 33rd (yes, that's THIRTY-THIRD) driving offense (4th serious drunk driving offense) and he was 24 or 25 years old. Anyway, he got 2 years in prison after pleading down to a lesser offense.

Why they even allow plea bargains for these scenarios is beyond me.

I agree with Quinntastic that the "normal" guy doesn't get 10 years either but they should.

Left them work it down to 5 served with the other 5 suspended.

Any sentence in days is a joke and a waste of the cops, DA and judge and jury's time.

Did the judge get season tickets or just autographed balls?
