Congrats to the Penguins and all their fans. I apologize for the piss poor class that the fans showed by booing the whole time during the presentation. I obviously am not that kind of fan so dont think I or all Wings fans are like that. Congrats on a great season.

Man, that last stop by Fleury was one for the books. My wife and I were both going nuts! The whole series was great in my opinion. Very happy for Coach Bylsma (former King) and also for my buddy Phillippe Boucher (lived next door to him when he was with the Kings). Congrats to all the Pens!

Now we head into the worst part of the year - no more hockey for 4 months and still two and a half months from college football. **Sigh!**

Uhhh, yea, the Wings did win on our ice. It was last year. And we didnt boo. Nice try though.

We had one power play last night, how can you complain about the officiating. You had 3 powerplays in the third period of the last 2 games. That is unheard of. I am always amazed at the hypocrisy of Detroit fans.

Watched the game with my future mother-in-law, who is in town for our wedding shower. She lives in SB, but is from Michigan and is a HUUUUUUGE Red Wings fan. Fantastic game. What a finish! Detroit did everything they could to win; it just wasn't in the cards. Props to the Penguins. My mother-in-law hated to see her Wings lose, but gave the Penguins their due. I think she wasn't so pissed because it was her first time watching hockey in HD, and she was in utter shock at the clarity.

And we thought the Wings' fans were booing Gary Bettman, not the Penguins. I actually felt sorry for him, but then I remembered that he's a tool who ruined hockey, so...

Not sure who or what the Detroit fans were booing, but if it was Bettman that wasn't the time or place. May have been one of the best Stanley Cup finals in years. My have been one of the best final series in sports. Take away the Wings blowout last Saturday and I believe the goals are even on 1 in favor of my Pens. Malkin and Crosby got them here, but the third line, defense, and Fluery won games 6 and 7. Glad Hossa did not win it, but he had a great point, if he would have signed with us, we may not have had the same team, because others could not have been signed. I have always maintained that hockey truly is a team sport, especially this time of year, every man counts. My daughter is now predicting the Pirates will win the World Series! She predicted the Cup after the Steelers won the Super Bowl. You have to love youthful optimism!

On a side note, Detroit got soooooo close two or three times in the final minutes. That was disappointing.
