"An Irish". Pfft.

I don't see anyone going "that Irish is good" or "this Irish is talented". This Vince Mullin guy's a moron.

Yeah he lost major credibility with me by totally missing on Tate, Julio Jones and AJ Green... Is he talking strictly from a Fantasy perspective? Silly list..

I have heard of 7 of the top 21 receivers. Who the hell is Aldrick Robinson at #3?

Arrellious Benn in HONORABLE MENTION? No Julio Jones? DeAndre Brown #5 OVER Julio, AJ, or MF? Golden Tate not even mentioned?

This guy's so stupid it's painful.

I don't usually venture onto blogs but I did yesterday with this guy providing data on Tate's performance and the NCAA rankings with a Link.

He responded:

... Tate prospered after Floyd was hurt and Duval Kumara failed to make an impact. I wonder if he was just opportunistic.

So once more back to the blog reply form and I wrote:

You can't be serious. Think about what you're saying. When Floyd was healthy he had only 3 more catches than Tate, 46-43. The defenses had to defend both. When Floyd went down defenses doubled and triple covered Tate and he excelled. The NCAA ranked Tate only #83 in catches made but #28 in Yards Receiving. Tate was indeed opportunistic turning his catches into long Yards After the Catch, oftimes in triple coverage. As you noted, Kamara failed to make an impact. Floyd got it done. His 18.6 YPC was among the best in the nation. It's in the Top 3 of returning receivers in '09 and you didn't list him among 47 your receivers. Check the stats instead of your perception. Here's an NCAA Link, again: http://web1.ncaa.org/mfb/natlRank.jsp?year=2008&rpt=IA_playerrec_yards&site=org

With a healthy Floyd and Ragone and Kamara bouncing back to freshman form AND the RBs, Clausen will have a lot of targets to throw to. ND will not have a 100 catch receiver. Too many hands not enough balls (Wabash working on mental image). But Tate can still be among the leaders in yards and YPC because of what he does after the catch.
