Why not just fuck the pie and then slap your wife?

LOL!!!!!

to me the answer is Floyd. Golden is great, but is not the complete receiver that Mike Floyd is. As painful as it is, Final play at UNC tells the story for me. JC was looking one way and one way only, Floyd. Hopefully this question only gets tougher over the next couple of years!!

One day I took a bite from a delicious big apple and thought to myself "hey this is better than an orange." The next day I peeled an orange and took a bite from it and thought to myself again, "hey this better than the apple I just ate yesterday."

As I recall, Jimmy was running from the blitz, looked upfield, knew he needed to get the ball off...and Floyd was the first one he saw. Golden Tate's his favorite target.

And Charlie, get off the board. You're supposed to eat the pies, not fuck them. Yeah, I'm talking to you, Charlie Weis.

Say so John Haynesworth, BGI

Point: Floyd Will Lead Irish Receivers In ‘09 :: Blue and Gold Illustrated

The first thing is Michael was a receiver in high school,” Weis said of one of the glaring differences between Floyd and Tate. “He played at Cretin Derham, who has a really good program, a very good passing offense that they run at the high school he's from. We have a lot of respect for them. As you know, we recruit a whole bunch of kids from there.

“The bottom line is he was already in a very highly structured pass offense in high school, whereas Golden was a running back, so it's totally different. It's apples and oranges. They're both unique individuals. They're different body types.

I hope we're still debating this come BCS time. It would mean a great offensive year.

"Less filling!"

"Tastes great!"

We win either way.

Stay healthy guys!

  • Through two seasons, Tate still holds an 18.9-ypc, a very impressive stat with 64 career receptions. Floyd is at 15.0 yards with 16 fewer catches.
  • Tate has recorded 22 receptions of at least 20 yards in his career and 17 have gained at least 30 yards. Tate’s six 100-yard receiving games already match Tim Brown’s total for his career, and that’s only part of the package.
  • There is also a rushing dynamic Tate adds to the offense that Floyd cannot, evidenced by Tate’s 24-yard scamper against Michigan State and his 21-yard TD run on an end-around against UW. It may not be a fair comparison, but TB Armando Allen has never recorded a 24-yard carry.

i see a lot of similarities between the two, both have speed, tates faster but floyd is no slouch. both have UNBELIEVABLE hands, and both are touchdowns waiting to happen.

If tate was 6'3" he would look a lot like Floyd and vice versa.
