Have you bought bacon directly from the butcher recently? I bought a couple pounds of fresh bacon from my butcher a few weeks ago and OMFG!!! The difference over the packaged stuff is remarkable. Put some pepper on it and a little maple syrup and then grilled it. Dear Lord that was nirvana.

Im not sure if this is the HUGE info you were thinkiing, but I did hear (from a very credible source) about some new wrinkles, and that would be Weis running some plays out of the "Wild Cat" formation. With either Armando or Golden running it! I was pretty happy to hear that Weis would open up to something like this.

Again sorry for getting your hopes up if this wasnt what you were looking for.

If this is true, it shouldn't make you happy.......it should piss you off!! The only reason to go to any kind of "Wildcat" package, is because you don't have faith in your normal offense to move the ball in crucial situations. My God!! You know who I feel sorry for, today? Yeah, my hatred for the Ducks (Yes I said "Hatred"! Screw political correctness!) is almost as blatant as my hatred for all things SC.

Duck bacon? No. But I have had fois gras (duck liver) wrapped in bacon and then pan seared. One of the best things I have ever tasted.

Deep fried beer battered bacon
Macaroni and Cheese with bacon
Bacon wrapped scallops
Chicken stuffed with bacon
Chocolate covered bacon (no lie. Sounds gross, but it rocks!)
