I think that is part of the problem. In the NFL, conditioning is a given as the athletes are professional and realize that they must be in the best shape possible if they want to continue earning a paycheck playing football...very little motivation to work is necessary from a coaching staff. In college, the student-athletes must be motivated and guided to get themselves into great football shape (with obvious exceptions, i.e. Brady Quinn).

I agree with you, except the players that believe they have the ability to play on Sundays what is their motivation? I think that conditioning on any level of sports is very important. There is no doubt that sometimes you can just out work a better player and over the past couple years it has come down to weather or not we were more talented.

That being said I am not sure we should jump all over this too soon. It is a good warning and I hope that Charlie and the staff look at it as a wake up call. We need to focus on getting in shape so we can dominate the second half against lesser teams. I also agree that Charlie needs to set a good example and show a little more motivation about his own health.....................................
