I'm not defending Republicans, the last 2 years of the previous administration's watch did result in fiscal irresponsibility and actions that have contributed to our current state of affairs. I simply provided Doomer with the physical ramifications of his threat. I'm certainly not 'bowing up here, just think that it's real easy to talk a big game behind a computer monitor. I AM blaming Obama for his actions. Does he get all the blame? No. 40% of the earmarks in the bill that just passed the House are Republican programs. But I have never said he gets all the blame. Those that support his decisions can infer what they would like from any of my previous posts. I believe I have previously posted that Bush certainly was not perfect. I am grateful for the things he did for our country to keep us safe (please just shut up and let me finish), and I am hopeful that I will have plenty to thank BHO for in 4-8 years. In the interim, as a registered Republican I will continue to question his decisions and encourage conservative leadership to take a stand in fixing some of the problems Republicans have created, and Democrats are currently exacerbating.

I think working together was sacrificed in the '70s. As a country, we don't work toward consensus but just 50% plus 1 or by judicial decree. I believe five judges decided abortion was a right to privacy and now my tax dollars are used to fund abortions. I'm inclined to think abortion is murder, the powerful killing the weak for their own convenience. Why should any of my earnings go toward funding abortions?

Right now, I'm wondering if I'm going to be considered "rich" by Obama and the IRS. If the choice is between peaceful solution or violent revolt, I'm leaning toward the later. Hey, 232 years was a good run.
