i just saw that threet is leaving michigan. doesd anyone else think its a coincidence that soooo many players are leaving the school? or is it just that he doesnt fit the system
Threet got screwed twice by coaching changes...he's a very sharp tack by all accounts. I hope he finds a school that can use him well.
wait Sam McGuffie left?
Yeah hes gonna probobly play somewhere in Texas, hes going back there to be with his family. I think his dad has cancer or something so hes going back to be near the family. I might not be correct on who is sick but I think its his dad.
Last I heard it was a HEAVY heavy lean toward Baylor or Rice.

Hey, I live in Waco, Texas home of the Baylor Bears, and everything I have heard from the Baylor fans are he is going to Rice.
Its definatly the system, hes just not mobile enough. Besides he knows hes going to get beat out by a true freshman next year in Forcier. Oh and I have seen some video on this kid......not to bad. They will be much better than last year.
Threet has had terrible luck. I live ten minutes from where he went to High School and he was easily the best QB I have seen in this area (not a huge D1 stomping grounds by any means). 6'6" Has a pretty good arm and smart as hell. Isn't a super talent but in the right system could be a good college QB.
I'm still not convinced Rod is going to get UofM to the promised land. In each of his last two years at WV, his team lost games to underdog teams late in the season with NC title games on the line.
On another topic, I watched the Catholics-Convicts game today. The ND defense was knocking people on their asses all day. I've never seen a Weis team play with that intensity. Its Year 5 Charlie, where's the nasty? Charlie is getting top high school talent, but its not getting coached up to top college talent.
The promised land at Michigan is to beat OSU. John Cooper averaged like 10 wins a year, but was 1-10 against Michigan and lost his job because of it.
I'll put money on RichRod being farther ahead in 5 years than Charlie is.
