I think you motivational techniques would be better served as Offensive Line coach. Get THOSE beefy bastards motivated!

John Blake...Not only a great coach but a great recruiter....Lured Marvin Austin away from FSU...He could land us some serious talent on the d-line...very personable much like Polian...I would pay him 1 mil just so he could get us those difference makers we've been dying to have on the DL...

I had no idea that Schnellenberger had coached at Oklahoma. I have always rooted against his teams, but always thought he was one of the best fundamentally sound football teachers in the last 30 years. Seems like Blake is a great coach and great person that got his chance at a bad time. Scapegoat kinda stuff, but maybe he is the one that helped bring back the Sooners to what they are now. Brief read of his bio reminds me of Eddie Robinson from Grambling St., a beautiful man full of energy that I met in person and had the privilege to pick his mind about football. Great man.

I still prefer Young or Zorich. If they want it, then give the young guys a chance. Especially those two.

Romeo Crennel Rumor is not true...just read that he will be the DC @ the KC Chiefs. When will Weis announce his new staff? The sooner the better to start reeling in those 2010 recruits!

Agreed. Whoever we name D line coach needs to start building relationships asap!!

We haven't offered John Blake...Its more of a pipe dream...I hope we do but it'd take a lot to persuade Blake to come here..
