I totally agree. Although they have been struggling lately offensively. I'm pretty disturbed by the way they are playing. This is a team that started preseason ranked 7th. I love Mike Brey and all but he's known for not being good defensively. I hope they win today cuz right now they are soft.

After ND football, the Lakers and Bruin basketball are my biggest passions. UCLA, after losing a couple weeks ago, is simply rolling right now. ND couldn't have picked a worse time to play them. Their defense is awesome like always, but they're finally clicking offensively, and are playing lights-out at home. Not saying ND doesn't have a chance because if they get hot they have a chance against anyone, and their conference has them ready for these types of games, but unfortunately for ND, they're playing a UCLA team that is smoking hot right now...

I am so disgusted by this season that I am not betting on this game nor will I even make a prediction. But I will say one thing which I would like eryone's feedback on.....

Not to take anything away from Ucla, but this has to be one of the worse Notre Dame teams I have seen in a long time. They suck. Sorry but they SUCK!

No they wouldn't. They would be a top 5 or 10 team but not the best in the country. This season has been a disaster. Brey isn't an amazing coach and his players get worse as their careers progress. Tory Jackson, Zach Hillesland, and going back Chris Thomas have all gotten worse as their times at ND progressed.

Completely wrong. Hillesland barely played his first two years, and Jackson was a project that was forced into action after KMAC was kicked out of school. And it was knee surgery that slowed down Thomas, not coaching. I will give you that some players do not progress the way you would like, but to say that they regress under Brey is wrong.

Case in point, Harangody and Chris Quinn. Harangody stepped foot on ND's campus and even said himself that he never thought he would get off the bench. And Quinn came in a skinny, short, slow kid who eventually averaged 18 per game his senior year and is now playing 20 minutes a game for the Miami Heat.

I'm starting to wonder if Mike Brey is the right guy for the job. Lost 7 in a row and giving up an average of 86 points per game. Notre Dame doesnt belong in the Ncaa Tourney OR the Nit.
