With the way Tebow was raised and his dedication to his play, I expected this and I'm sure many did. He has got to know he probably wouldn't be a QB starter in the NFL if he left this year as a Junior. He has some serious skills at the college level, I just don't know how they would transfer to the NFL as a QB.

Its the hand of God in action. Tebow comes back for a final year and gives Urban a shot at a third national championship. Meanwhile, Charlie struggles throughout the year, his fifth year. The administration is pressured to cut Charlie loose providing an opening for Urban to return.

Just throwing this out there for all the conspiracy kooks.

Mel Kiper projected Tebow as a third or fourth round pick and would play "H" back in the NFL.
Apparently thats a mixture of tightend/fullback. Kiper went on to say that he would also be a third string QB in the NFL. Tebow could prove all the experts wrong... if I was an NFL GM, he could play on my team any day of the week.

im hoping charlie doesnt struggle and gives the bcs a great run, and maybe even a championship run if things fall our way...... but if not, i would hope the administration would at least look into Urbans interest by offering a big ass check to him. It probably wouldnt look very much like a conspiracy then.

The question is, why would he leave Florida?

The question is, why would he leave Florida?

Yes, I can see Meyer coming. In the crystal ball. Yea, yea thats it. Meyer leaves a Florida program that wins 2 NCs in four years to take over one that has won one bowl game in 15 years. Plus he leaves the crappy Florida climate for the robust South Bend climate. If we got enough money to entice him to come then why not buy out CW now and get the first coach/whore that will take the payday? I honestly dont see him leaving Florida any time soon. Sorry. Let CW play out the next season and let the Meyer stuff rest awhile.

Wow well said. He would not leave the Gators unless he got 10 million per year.

Im not surprised to hear the news that hes returning. Smart kids make smart decisions. He is a true leader in every aspect of the word. When he made that speech at the press confrence after the old miss game i couldnt help but be jealous that we dont have a leader like that. I dont mean for that to sound like I dont think JC is a leader but Tebow stepped out that day and put the team on his back.

I have to admit I like Tebow. Only seen him play once, and that was enough. Seems like a great kid and definitely a great athlete. Hope he continues to do great things.

I will now go wash my hands and brush my teeth for having complimented a Gator. Yuckies.

Hell, I might as well take a sh sho show sssshhower shower.

Yuckies.

If you truly love college football, I think it is impossible to not like this kid. I didn't like him, told people so, and then I saw him play. He is a warrior, and a great example of why college football (besides the screwed up BCS) is the greatest sport in the world.

Overall incredible kid does all the little things and has the IT factor... Its a shame that the Irish didn't snag him out of high school

USC vs. Flordia is going to be Hell of a National Championship next year! I wanted to root against Flordia in the NC game but Tebow is so hard to root against. Great kid!!!

I think its a wonderful tribute to the spirit and sportsmanship of the Irish faithful when I come on this web site and open up a blog about the starting QB at a NON-Irish football powerhouse, and hear the praise and accolades bestowed on him.

Makes me proud to be an Irish fan! Classy people, all around.

Tebow is an all around stud on and off the field.

Stepped up to the plate after their only loss and said no one would work harder than him. Kid has a big heart and refuses to fail. I'm glad he's coming back and I hope he wins another title. I don't care what Mel Kiper thinks. He threw 28 TDs and 2 INTs all year. He can play freakin QB.

Off the field he does what you would want your son to do. A true leader makes those around him better.

Florida doesn't start one senior on defense. That, Tebow, Harvin, and company all coming back is scary for everyone.

And his girlfriend is smoooooooooooookin hot

We can stop all the lovefest over Tebow now. I am guilty also. Just turn on ESPN for the entire calender year and you will get your fill of Tim Tebow. He is the new darling of ESPN. Maybe rightfully so, but I bet he will be like that hit song that you really liked until the radio played it into the ground. I have that press conference after the Ole Miss game memorized now. He is a heck of a player but we are about to get a huge dose of him on ESPN, just wait.

Tebow is an amazing talent. It's good fort college football for him to return. I'm not sure how his skills will be used in the pros but I think about any college coach would love to have him on his team.
