Yet is being critical negative? I've been critical of some of the playcalling, well the majority of the playcalling, but I don't consider myself a "turncoat". Some of these posters that are being bashed for expressing dissapointment have been fans for years on end. Criticism of a team does not mean you're a bandwagoner or jumping a cliff. Now the personal attacks are ridiculous but to criticize... No.

Heres the deal, Charlie is a good coach. The team is just young. Look what he did with Quinn and the boys. Jimmy is a stud and he will lead us to victory. I think that there is a chance we could lose 1 or 2 other games beside to SC but I can dream.

I'm pretty sure that Syracuse could have put up more than 9 yards in the first half against USC. What happened to decided schematic advantage?

I think you're way off when you call Charlie a good coach. I'd be more disposed to say unproven or average at this point in his career.

What are you going to be saying when Charlie leads us to 10 wins next year? You are an idiot and if he were not a good coach then every ND former player and coach would not publicly endorse him. Even your presious Montana who by the way my be the single reason Charlie is still the coach. I wish you all would just embrace the team and show up and root for them, instead you spend your time booing and talking about other team and what they do or dont do.

Dude, first of all, why are you coming on here calling people idiots for their thoughts and opinions? You obviously have not caught on to the sentiment and vibe on this board. Secondly, you say Coach Weis is a good coach and he did all these good things, then you turn right around and say the single reason he still has his job is because of Montana. And you're the one calling someone else an idiot?

Don't come on here and just call people names and say they are bad fans if the have a different opinion than you do. Bring something to the table. If all you can say is the team is young and look what CW did with Quinn and Co., I am going to save you a lot of time because those arguments have been played out too long here and on every other freakin' board around. Discuss and debate the issues presented. Don't just try to inflame things and start arguments because it is boring and you sound lame because, quite frankly, you just aren't very good at it.

I'm not going to sit here and W/L every game but based on the percentage of improvement we saw this year from last AND knowing almost every key player will be back WITH some others steping in I say with confidence I feel 10 wins is VERY VERY do-able... and for the record I was the poster who was crying disater before last season and said 6-7 wins should be expected this season... so so far so good...

I agree in whole with you. It also seems that some within ND alum and brass feel the same way or I believe CW would not be with us for next year.

You however don't know me and let me tell you facts are facts played out or not Charlie did it with Brady and the boys and he will do it again. Tell me since you are a pro at the posting things what team in Div. 1 started a so. QB RB WR and a fros. WR TE. How many wins did other teams with similar expreinced players have? Also as a side note I know for a fact that Montana and Charlie are friends and Montana supports him as our coach and wants his kids to play for HIM.
