Who would be on the short list for his replacement. I'm not familar with the top OL coaches in the country.

Maybe i wouldn't be too bad, I have gotten my OL to all average around a 93 overall rating in NCAA Football for Playstation.

I will pretend for a second that a) Weis is retained (which i don't believe he should be); and b) that Weis will be able to get a top coach to come to Notre Dame knowing that the coaching staff may all be let go after next season (which i don't believe he will be able to):

My first choice:

Andy Heck (OLine coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars)

He was a captain on the '88 team.

You don't think I'm worthy based off my video game experience?

Heck would be nice, I like the ND ties with him.

you don't think Andy Heck is a good offensive line coach? Suddenly b/c they have ND ties they are bad. Urban Meyer has ND ties. Please tell me how the offensive line coach for one of the most successful rushing attacks in the NFL over the past 5 years is a bad idea. clown.

I'm totally behind you 100% on the andy heck idea. The jags run game is awesome

yeah. it really doesn't matter though b/c Weis won't be able to convince any elite position coaches/coordinators to come to ND when he is on the "hot seat" like this. The only way good assistants come is if there is a new head coach.

What if he would allow those coaches a chance to look at his superbowl rings?
