What advice would you give Charlie

If you could talk to Charlie, either this week or at the end of the season would advice would you give him to be successful next year at ND.

I would keep mine to one of the many complaints we have heard the past couple weeks. It has nothing to do with x's or o's. He has love for ND, he has to show that to the players before he can inspire them with emotion, they need to see it. Before he can move them emotionally they need to see his. To convince them he must believe himself. Stop being so guarded with your emotions around the team. Be guarded with the media if you want but show your emotions to the team and alumni even. Lastly, I would tell him nothing great is accomplished without passion and enthusiasm. Get into the their hearts and souls to give 60 minutes of football every saturday against every opponent. Look at Pitt, Navy, and Syracuse they old out on every play against us. They had passions and enthusiasm and it worked for them. We should have beaten all three, the last twoby more than 10 points and we did not.

Fire Latina, hire someone to coach up the O-line ( they are a bus wreck), take a motivational seminar taught by Lou, pray alot

Tender a letter of resignation and avoid the embarrassment of being another fired Irish coach. Plus, he'd then have the spring and summer to find another NFL team to get on with. I'm sure clubs like the Rams, Chiefs, Raiders and Browns would like to have his services. In fact, it'd be pretty smart for Cleveland to bring him in if they truly see their future being with Brady Quinn at QB.

The advice I can offer to an ND head coach:

When you visit porn sites, make sure you have good firewall, antivirus, and popup protection. When you visit booby bars, have a pre-set spending limit. I recommend clipping out the free entry coupon out of the sports page, and maybe a 60 dollar onsite limit. It usually only takes 1 dance to satisfy.

When choosing your choice of puppy to punch, make sure they are stray and can't punch back.

Okay, that was a complete cheap shot, which belies the fact that I think CW is a good person, but the opportunity was too good to pass up.

Yes there have been many more bumps in the road than you(CW), me, and every other ND fan would want to have, but I can see where we are going. These are the times that try fans souls. Do not listen to the media, the morons throwing snowballs at you, the dumbass posters calling for you and your coaching staff's jobs. Ignore them, focus on the team. And make us even better next year. I believe in you CW. Don't prove me wrong.

You're rushing attack has been ranked in the 100's two years running and you're o-line, overall, has been terrible three years running. But stick with Latina, he's doing fine.

Now wait just a minute. I've watched a lack of progress with CW coaching this team...no running game...no O-line and a QB who is clueless at times reading a defense and now you want him to come to Cleveland?????? We have enough bad football here right now....Romeo has them screwed up...we sure don't need CW!
