Doesn't really matter. He is light years away from anything we have right now, and one more year is not going to make that much of a difference in this case.
Another stupid statement. It doesn't really matter? Are you for real Phork? Sorry someone else called you out on your lack of knowledge, but to just dismiss yet another year as not really mattering is just, well, beyond stupid.
Ask ANY quarterback, or any football player for that matter, and they'll tell you that a year makes a HUGE difference. Esp QB. The game slows down for you so much, as you know the offense much better, you are able to read defenses much better, you are calmer, older, stronger, etc. Look at the progress JC has made from his freshman year, when he only played about half the time and even then he was on his back more than a hooker in those games. Might not be enough progress for you, but he's made HUGE strides.
If he was able to watch for an entire year like Bradford, with no pressure on playing, just learning, that would have been a huge advantage. To just dismiss that extra year with a wave of the arm is sophmoric and ignorant.
That is not to disparage Bradford. He's playing phenominally. But apples to oranges. Name a great QB in the NFL that played the spread in college. He's got a waaayyyyy better line, he actually has a running game, and his coach is better than ours. And yes, he's playing better than JC. But just because ypu got called out (again), don't just dismiss it because you are embarrassed. Try to man up for the first time in your life and admit your mistake. It's getting laughable how many times you get nailed (reminds me of a girl I knew in high school...budumchaaa)...
