Jesus, what a douchebag. I had ND radio on for the Navy game via Sirius with the TV sound turned down. Criqui couldn't stop cheerleading for Navy in the 2nd half. Holy shit. I mean, he's on "our" broadcast team and I realize he doesn't want to sound like a homer but he sounded like he could have had a sweater and skirt on waving pom poms. Was making me sick.

At one point he said that if Navy came back to take the lead and go one to win, it would be the greatest comeback/upset in college football history! Not just ND/Navy history but ALL of college football for all-time.

I wish I could remember more of the crap he specifically said that had me so pissed off...was hard enough watching us all but give away the game. I meant to post shortly after the game but was too worked up. Then I got lazy and now I have faint recollections of it except for the "greatest comeback in cf history".

I can't friggin' believe we got rid of Tony Roberts for this effin' moron.

Beurlein was a good a balancing act on CBS. He oozed du Lac with his every word. I got a kick out of it. How can an alum stay so almost neutral? Great job Beurlein.

My problem with him is that he is so monotone I don't know what is a big play and what isn't. I listened to part of the game on the radio and found myself longing for the NBC guys! I agree though, Criqui is AWFUL...

I agree with both of you. Beurlein was really good. Would be nice to see him do the NBC games. Today we are back to freakin' Pat Haden! Ugh! Looks like I will be drinking heavily today during the game. I like to play a Pat Haden drinking game - every time he mispronounces an ND player's name, take a shot. Every time he repeats the same anecdote about an opposing team's player, take a shot. Every time he interjects something about what ND should have done differently, take a shot. Trouble is, I have never made it past the second quarter without barfing!

Get rid of Haden and Criqui! While you are at it, get Davie out of there too along with that dip-wad Jesse Palmer!!!
