I don't see Charlie being one to let someone go during the season. But I guess I will wait and see if your info is correct.

I guess if Haywood walked, Charlie doesn't get to make the choice. But this is just a rumor, so who knows. Our running game did look better last week, even though it was against Navy. Maybe Weis could start coaching the O-line too!! :smilewink

Yeah, I'm sure he felt like he was taking all of the blame, and he didn't want to be the scapegoat so to speak.

Especially if you are looking for a head coaching job, better get out while you can, so the media doesn't start running with the story on how Haywood tore the team down

Haywood did return for the game last week, right? And, he's supposed to be with the team today according to the FWJG. Of course Charlie didn't want to talk about it, so there might be something there.

I agree...he seems very full of crap but could be getting some major reps by Monday at this time if all he has said is true!

Even if he is right and what he says is true, then my question would be - who's trust is he violating? If he does have firsthand knowledge of the situation, then I think it is deplorable for him to come on here and start airing these things out just so he can be viewed as being "in the know" and feel like a big shot. I really think anyone actually in a position with firsthand knowledge would have a little more loyalty and honor to not be sharing this kind of information. Then again maybe he is a janitor at the football offices and he likes to go through their trash at night.

Who's crossing a line? If you don't want to defend your position, then don't post. If you put it out there, there's a chance it'll get stepped on. Maybe his information is dead on, maybe it's not. We're here to "talk". That's what we're doing.

asking him to back it up is one thing. saying you can't believe him with out more info is fine. I'm not saying anyone has to believe him.

but the posts have gotten to the point of ridicule. mocking him and calling him a janitor is going over the line. saying his ethics are deplorable and lacking in loyalty is over the line, unless you know for a fact the people he is talking to requested he keep the info off the record or between them.

if you guys want to act that way fine, i'mnot saying you're violating rules. but the likelihood of anyone coming here and wanting to share real, verifiable information goes down everytime people act this way, because people piss all over the guy before he has a chance to establish credibility.
