Just a random question. I'm from Belfast and am a huge Manchester United supporter. Been to Old Trafford many times. I know OUR football isn't exactly popular there but it's bound to have SOME people following it. If so what's your team & what had u follow them.

Our idea of Irish football consists of watching Notre Dame pummel Socal (not the mod, mind you).
Soccer is ok in very small doses.

i like world cup but that's the extent of it even though i played growing up. football(american style), basketball and baseball took over and baseball was my ticket to college and the pros.

We love soccer in my house. My sons are Arsenal fans. One son's club team played in a tournament in Chile so he also started following the South American teams but I don't know who they are. His former club coach is a US scout for Chelsea so he follows that team also.

I hate to wish anyone bad luck but if South Africa doesn't get their act together with the WC, I would be very happy to see it back here.

Love soccer. Played all my life (football and baseball too), played a couple years in colege, and as recently as last year I played in 4 leagues until my knees made it very clear I needed to stop. Now it's just a Saturday morning thing.

My dad is from Spain, so we root for both Real Madrid and Barcelona (family in both cities), but Barca is our first love. I list my favorite teams as ND, Lakers, Angels, and Barca. Spain finally winning the Euro Cup was HUGE in our family. Like the Red Sox finally winning the World Series huge.

I totally understand why people don't like soccer (just like I get why people don't like baseball), but I LOVE the sport. When you grow up on something, you almost have no choice.

My Alabama neighbors always rip on soccer saying its boring because there are so few goals score.

Then they rip on the Big 12 saying that all those TDs are just showing off and "defense wins championships". So, apparently, scoring touchdowns in football is bad and yet at the same time, not scoring goals in soccer is bad too.

I love following the premiership. My team is Portsmouth, I follow them cuz my great grandpa used to live there..They're okay but we just lost Redknapp to Totts and I'm kinda pissed about that. Defoe is really fun to watch though.
