It is obvious that the only problem with our football team is the guy who does the scheduling. Fire whoever that is. So long as we play the service academies and maybe a few Ivy League teams we can be competitive and we can all have a good time. Forget national championships and focus on first class tailgate parties. Let's start making this about fun, not about winning, which ain't gonna happen anyway!

Being an athlete at an Academy has to be one of the hardest college job anywhere in the world. Anyone who criticizes the Academies is someone who has no clue what these students go through day in and day out. I'm thankful they go through it. Most D1 kids wouldn't be able to hang at Annapolis.

Is this true? I heard ND is the third biggest ROTC program in the country behind Annapolis and Army?

They beat us last year. I hope this gets them going. Blow out Syracuse then pound USC. We got the talent. Remember? We have been in all but two games this year. The BC game was very disappointing but hey, We still gotta play them. Just ask Iowa and Ole Miss about that.

My brother was recently the Executive Officer of the NROTC Battalion at ND. ND commissions more Naval and Marine Corps. officers than any other University (minus the Academy, of course). I couldn't tell you about the Army and Air Force programs, though.

He's night and day from early in the season. I think he's 9 of his last 10, the only miss being the pitt OT one which I thought was in. Good to see.

I know our O and D lines are bigger then theirs but I really like seeing us win in the trenches. I also like seeing our corners playing run very well.

Well it looks like my newborn daughter will start her life with an Irish victory guys. She was born on Thursday 11-12-2008. 6lbs 4oz.
